The Morelli Sales team gathered at Eyebox in Coventry for a two day launch event to showcase the facility. We welcomed select suppliers buying in to the centre to give them the opportunity to use the space and showcase their products. The first day was set up for our key partners and the second day was primarily for training partners and other key suppliers to showcase their training courses and products.

Day 1 of our official Eyebox Launch and Supplier Showcase was a huge success. We gave thanks to PPGAxalta, DeBeer Refinish, Glasurit UK3M, and INDASA Abrasives for showcasing their products to our sales team. We were able to set up some of the companies in our spray booths, with others having a space in one of our work bays.

Day 2 saw us welcome 15 other suppliers to the centre! These included Automotive Glass Academy, Autotech Training, Cornerstone Technologies, Diamond Cut Refinishing LimitedDEVILBISS AUTOMOTIVE REFINISHING PRODUCTSEsprit Windscreen Repair SystemsFLEX-Elektrowerkzeuge GmbHGYS France (Headquarters)KECO Tabs UKMirka (UK) LtdPrevost EURepairify EuropeRUPES S.p.A.SATA, and last but not least, The Tool Connection.

PPG showed off their Moonwalk machine, which has since been installed on site at Eyebox. This is the only one in the UK outside a PPG facility or bodyshop. Axalta have also since taken a space to showcase their Irus mixing machine which is the first completely automatic mixing system they have recently launched. All the tinters are loaded and ready to mix any colour.

In addition to this, Glasurit have installed a 100 Line mixing scheme with mixing table to showcase their new product line which was only recently launched into UK bodyshops by us. DeBeer have their latest mixing machinery and equipment in the centre and want to use the space for training through the year. 3M have provided some of their Festool dust extractors with sanders and consumables as well as sprayguns and polishers. Indasa have been amazing too, taking space for meeting and training use and providing equipment to be used at the centre.

SATA are excellent with colleges and training centres and always have been. They have supported Worldskills events, providing a lot of equipment and they have done the same for the training centre. We have new guns and all the latest SATA products to showcase and for attendees to use.
