Supplier Equipment Showcase

Supplier Equipment Showcase

Verity Moring |

Eyebox has lived up to its purpose and become a hub for our industry to showcase the very best we have to offer. We are able to exhibit best-in-class technical facilities as well as the latest innovations from all our major suppliers.

This year we hosted customers and supporters to an event that served to highlight some of our equipment suppliers, with demonstrations and special show offers on the day. The event was a huge success and saw us welcome attendees from all across the country.

☑️ Product demonstrations

We were pleased to have over 30 of our equipment suppliers taking up space on the main floor of our centre, with a few tucked away into spray booths and spilling out into the car park! Our facilities made it easy and safe for companies to demonstrate the equipment and tools they had brought along with them for customers to get a full understanding of the product prior to purchase.

"The Equipment Showcase was an excellent opportunity for INDASA, it was busy, engaging, and full of energy from start to finish. It was great to get hands-on and demonstrate our latest innovations; HT Ceramic and MTE-NEON, both of which were well received by visitors and the Morelli team. Eyebox is a brilliant facility and with its vibrant atmosphere, passionate professionals, and strong industry presence, we were proud to be a part of it. Events like this really show the value of bringing the industry together in one place."

- Faye Tindall, Marketing Manager (INDASA UK)

We were also able to demonstrate our Slim's Detailing Wash Process Trolley which has been a success with our Morelli customers. The system enables body shops to offer customers a full detail before returning their repaired cars. This wash trolley makes products easy-to-use, removing user error with dilution ratios, and makes for a low cost wash per vehicle.

☑️ New product releases

A few of our suppliers unveiled new products at the event including TEROSON's new EV battery repair filler, Indasa with HT Ceramic and MTE-NEON, Cornerstone Technologies and their new plastic welding tool, and 3M with their new Clean Sanding System (and more)!

“It was fantastic to be part of the Supplier Day at Morelli’s Eyebox Training Centre, showcasing the LOCTITE® TFX 3010 Thermal Gap Filler. The event provided a great platform to demonstrate how this innovative, silicone-free solution is transforming EV battery repair with its high thermal conductivity, easy application, and room-temperature curing. What’s especially exciting is how this product supports sustainability—by enabling safe and effective battery module repairs, we reduce the need for battery replacements and the environmental impact of battery disposal. It’s a smart step forward for workshops embracing the future of e-Mobility.”

We were thrilled to have training our partner Cornerstone Technologies join us with their N Series Plastic Repair System that included the equipment showcase's most talked about innovation; the Brand New ‘Mini’ EXT welder. The Mini EXT plastic welder is designed for fine detailed repairs and creates very small welds that larger, more aggressive tools cannot replicate. Cornerstone liken the tool to a medical instrument that is able to undertake very fine work such as fillet welds on bumper edges as well as finer butt welding on headlight tabs.

Cornerstone N Series Plastic Repair System with EXT Welder

“The Morelli/Eyebox Equipment Showcase enabled Cornerstone to demonstrate the accuracy and strength of repair that can be undertaken with the Complete N Series Plastic Welding System. Both vehicle manufacturers and collision repair centres tried their hand at fine plastic welding live on the day with excellent feedback from all!”

☑️ Networking and connecting

Overall, the event allowed customers, suppliers, and individuals to catch up or simply introduce themselves. Oftentimes, with an industry spread out across the country (and even the continent!), correspondences predominantly take place over email. Events like this are important in bringing as many people as possible under one roof in order to connect face-to-face and maintain that friendly business relationship.

Thank you to everyone who came to this Equipment Showcase! The feedback from the day has been very positive and we are pleased to hear that the day was a success for so many. We already look forward to the next event we can hold here at Eyebox.
